Senior Project Manager

Daymark Energy Advisors is looking to hire a Senior Project Manager who will manage large client engagements throughout the project lifecycle. This position requires a person who can confidently rally internal resources and coordinate teams of consultants to advance complex projects and deliver quality results to our clients. The Senior Project Manager position is a new role. This new role will contribute to the organization’s overall strategic growth by effectively managing execution of complex projects and modeling strong project management skills.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading complex cross-practice projects and programs.
  • Providing clear direction to team members to ensure that the scope and project approach are fully understood by project team and client.
  • Structuring and managing the execution of projects by developing work plans, gathering relevant data, coordinating analytical efforts among Daymark team members, and developing final deliverables.
  • Working with project sponsors and internal team members to develop and roll-out action plans and to report on status of projects from initiation to implementation.
  • Managing project resources and client interactions to ensure client outcomes are delivered and maximum business benefits are achieved.
  • Monitoring and communicating progress of project delivery in terms of cost, revenue forecast, time schedule, and scope.
  • Identifying and tracking key project milestones. Resolving and elevating issues or obstacles that may arise to ensure timely delivery of client work product in line with Daymark quality standards.
  • Establishing and maintaining strong working relationships across teams, within the organization, and with clients and identifying and sharing best practices in analyses and methodologies with peers and project team members.
  • Facilitating post implementation reviews and ensure lessons learned are acted upon and implemented.
  • Acting as a resource to applicable internal and external stakeholders.
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements that reduce workloads or improve quality.

 

Qualifications:

  • Program/Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience working in an environment managing multiple, concurrent deliverables with shifting priorities, demands, and timelines
  • Strong critical thinking, problem solving, and decision-making skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication, collaboration, facilitation, and presentation skills
  • Results-oriented ownership mentality and attention to detail and accuracy
  • Knowledge of Project Management best practices and software tools
  • Ability and desire to understand the structure of and issues facing the energy industry and their impact on project management, risks, and opportunities
