Daymark Energy Advisors is pleased to announce that Tina Bennett has joined the firm as Principal Consultant and Melissa Whitten and Doug Smith, both longstanding members of the firm, have been elevated to Managing Consultants.
Tina Bennett joins our team from her previous post as President/COO of Conservation Services Group, where she managed the strategic planning and transition process related to the sale of CSG to CLEAResult. Leveraging her more than 20 years of experience in energy services, Ms. Bennett will advise electric and natural gas industry stakeholders on executive-level business operations including strategic planning, capital planning, budgeting, resource development, and asset transactions. Ms. Bennett’s addition to the team advances our mission to provide industry leading strategic analysis and advice to our clients in the evolving areas of distributed energy resource planning, grid modernization policy and regulation, and power sector decarbonization.

Doug Smith has contributed increasingly to our firm’s management, analytical, and advisory capabilities since he joined us in 2004. Mr. Smith is excited to continue the growth of our firm’s electric wholesale market modeling group in support of clients’ key decisions regarding asset valuation, development, or acquisition in a world of increasing market complexity and uncertainty. Analysis of potential market responses to state and federal decarbonization policies and other initiatives will continue to be a key tool for quantifying risks and informing strategic decisions.
Melissa Whitten has expertly led our firm’s natural gas knowledge area since she joined our team in 2009. Our clients depend on the high quality analysis and advice she provides, including in key areas impacting the electric and natural gas industries today. She has extensive expertise in the design and performance of long-term supply strategies, capital investments, and infrastructure replacement planning.
