Melissa Whitten is an expert in the natural gas industry. She provides clients with economic and regulatory analysis and strategic insights on a broad array of matters including the design and performance of long-term supply strategies, capital investments, and infrastructure replacement planning. In addition to her natural gas industry expertise, she is a leader in electric demand side management planning and evaluation. Ms. Whitten has provided expert testimony in seven North American jurisdictions on behalf of utilities, regulatory staffs, and intervening parties.
Ms. Whitten joined Daymark Energy Advisors in 2009. Before joining Daymark, she served for six years as a director of gas supply, transportation and storage for a natural gas utility in the Northwest, several years with a major electric utility in the Boston area, and was an independent power project developer.
Ms. Whitten has an MBA in Finance and Information Systems from the University of Rochester and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from the University of Massachusetts.
