Alex provides advisory services for gas and electric retail rate cases, restructuring and wholesale power markets on topics including rate theory, strategy and specialized cost recovery mechanisms for accelerated capital plans and mergers. He has supported numerous complex state and federal investigative proceedings and has testified as an expert witness.
Prior to joining Daymark, Alex served as assistant attorney general for eight years in the utilities division of the Office of the Massachusetts Attorney General. Before his public service, he represented corporate clients in state and federal court.
Alex holds a J.D. from the Western New England College School of Law and a B.A. in Economics from Vassar College.
